Try your hand at classic blackjack for free here at Sportsbet! With Onetouch’s Blackjack Classic table game, you can play 21 whenever you want and wherever you are. It follows the basic rules of the popular card game and uses 8 decks of cards.

The card values in blackjack are as follows:

• Cards from 2 to 10 are worth their pip values
• Face cards namely Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth 10 each
• Aces can be worth 11 or 1 depending on which value is most favourable to the hand.

Playing Blackjack Classic 

Start your round of Blackjack Classic by placing your bets first. If you want, you can also play with just 1 active betting spot.

Once you’ve placed your bets, click the ‘Deal’ button to begin the game round. All active betting spots receive two upward cards while the dealer receives one card facing down and one card facing up. 

You won’t have to manually count your hands’ value since it’ll automatically appear above the cards. If any of your hands total 21, you have a blackjack and that hand automatically wins the corresponding payout.

If the dealer’s card is an Ace or 10, the dealer peeks to check if their hand is a blackjack. You can buy insurance for half the price of your main bet if the dealer’s card is an Ace to protect your bet in case the dealer’s hand is a blackjack. 

If the dealer’s hand is a blackjack, you lose. If you and the dealer both have blackjacks, your bet is returned. Lastly, if the dealer’s hand is not a blackjack, you proceed with the game and can choose to Hit, Split, Stand or Double Down.

You can hit for any hand as many times as you want but if its total goes above 21, it busts and you lose your bet. Once you’re done deciding for all hands, the dealer’s flipped card is revealed. 

If the dealer’s hand is 16 or lower, they will Hit until their total reaches 17 or above. However, you win if the dealer’s hand busts or is lower than any of your hands.

Payouts

There are three ways for you to win in Blackjack Classic: having a hand that is higher than the dealer’s, buying insurance when the dealer’s hand is blackjack and having a blackjack yourself.
